TST Training Policy

The company has a training policy which aims to effectively respond to the demands of providing customer service. Our staff training aims to respond to this ever more rigorous and demanding reality.

Therefore our annual training plans are based on two essential training programmes: initial professional training, for new employees, mostly drivers; and continuous professional training, which aims to respond to our strategic and quality targets.

Initial Professional training for drivers, aims to qualify trainees for the specific duties of providing a public passenger transport service, with accompanying contents and service parameters and continuous assessment once the trainee has gained their driving licence (Public Service). All initial training is complemented by an induction process which involves a large practical component – perfection of driving techniques allied to the concepts of Economic and Defensive Driving.

Continuous Professional training is carried out mainly in-house, whether using internal trainers with teaching abilities who are dedicated to the training process or using external trainers, especially in behavioural areas, where we invest in improving the quality of the customer service provided always considering the aims and culture of the company.

The company also provides refresher and update courses for maintenance staff with the technical support of our suppliers and external training companies.
